Overview
These Terms & Conditions apply when you book, attend or pay for appointments, classes or services with Dan Rix Physiotherapy Ltd.
We aim to provide a high standard of care and service to all patients. These terms help us manage appointments fairly, keep clinics running smoothly and make sure appointment times remain available for patients who need them.
By booking an appointment, class or service with us, you agree to follow these Terms & Conditions.
Bookings
Appointments and classes are subject to availability and are only confirmed once the required booking details and payment arrangements have been completed.
We may ask for information such as your name, date of birth, contact details, reason for attending, relevant medical details and payment information before confirming your booking.
If you need to change an appointment, please contact us as soon as possible so we can offer the appointment time to another patient.
Payments
Dan Rix Physiotherapy is a pre-payment clinic. Payment is required in advance to confirm your scheduled appointment or class.
Payments can be made over the phone, by BACS, or in clinic where available. If you would like to pay by BACS, our payment details can be sent to you by WhatsApp or SMS upon request.
Please make sure payment is completed and confirmed before your appointment to secure your booking and avoid delays or rescheduling.
We accept various forms of payment; however, we do not accept American Express.
Important: If payment has not been received, your appointment may not be fully confirmed and may be offered to another patient.
Cancellation policy
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment or class.
If you fail to attend, reschedule, or cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, you will be required to pay the full cost of the missed appointment or class.
This policy applies because short-notice cancellations and missed appointments make it difficult for us to offer the appointment time to another patient.
To cancel or reschedule, please call us on 0161 818 8100 or email us at bookings@danrixphysio.com. Please include your name, appointment date and appointment time when requesting changes.
Late arrivals
Please arrive on time for your appointment or class.
If you arrive late, your session may need to be shortened so that the next patient is not delayed.
If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment and the full session cost will still apply.
Insurance appointments
If your appointment is funded by an insurance company, solicitor, case manager, medico-legal agency or other third party, you remain responsible for any charges that are not covered by them.
Insurance companies will not usually pay for missed appointments or late cancellations. If you fail to attend or cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, you may be required to pay the full appointment cost yourself.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have valid authorisation for treatment where this is required by your insurer or referring organisation.
Classes and group sessions
Class bookings are subject to availability and must be paid for in advance unless agreed otherwise.
The same 24-hour cancellation policy applies to classes and group sessions. If you cancel late or fail to attend, the full class fee may still apply.
If a class needs to be cancelled or changed by Dan Rix Physiotherapy, we will contact you as soon as possible and offer a suitable alternative where available.
Clinical care
Our clinicians will assess your needs and recommend treatment based on the information available at the time of your appointment.
Please provide accurate information about your symptoms, medical history, medication, allergies, previous injuries and any changes in your condition. This helps us provide safe and appropriate care.
Treatment outcomes can vary between patients. While we aim to provide effective care and advice, we cannot guarantee a specific clinical outcome.
If your clinician feels that physiotherapy is not appropriate, or that you require medical review, they may advise you to contact your GP, consultant, urgent care service or another healthcare professional.
